We will be returning safely to
Messy Church once we work out a way.

Meeting people face-to-face again after many months apart is something we are planning.

We want to hold Messy Church again but whilst there is still a risk from Covid-19 we feel it is important to comply with government guidelines and the advice given by The Church of England.

Messy Church is covered by the guidance for churches which includes staying apart, minimum contact between people, minimum contact with materials and equipment, regular handwashing and keeping people in their household groups.

This means we would have to ask families to book in and find ways creating a segregated space for each individual family – plus activities that don’t break out of the space, ooze, drip, explode and are not edible as we can’t share food. This would be nothing like the Messy Church we have enjoyed in the past.

BUT AS SOON AS WE CAN WORK IT ALL OUT AND BE BACK, WE WILL.

God bless,
Mrs Mills!

For Children

At St Michael’s we have a regular Sunday School for primary school aged children.

We meet in the Parish Hall at 9.30am every Sunday in term-time.

We do lots of things, activities, games and crafts etc.

Service in Church

The 2nd Sunday in church is a shorter, simpler service suitable for parents and children.  There are some songs, some prayers and a short talk and everyone is encouraged to join in!
